We all survived.
It all comes down to that, doesn’t it? One singular organism making it through another day, another month, another year. Temporal markers that mean nothing, and everything.
I survived, and I am back.
It feels good (and also a little terrifying) to begin Sacred Sundays once more. The acquisition of a laptop has finally made this weekly blogging schedule absolutely possible for me. I enjoy posting, but it’s always difficult to fall back into a previously abandoned routine.
I’m not sure what 2013 will bring me, but I can only hope it’s as eventful and enlightening as 2012. I would link you to my old 2012 resolutions for reference, but it seems my site’s script is broken for those dates… Hopefully 2013 will see a resolution to those… broken resolutions *cue off-stage cymbal strike*. Sigh.
My New Years Resolutions for the upcoming year are, I hope, more concise than last year’s. That doesn’t mean they’ll be any easier to keep…
– Blog every Sunday.
– Keep up with GoodReads; review each newly read title.
– Lifestyle change: Exercise
Yes, just those for now. Facebook received a separate resolution that I won’t re-post, and my analog journal received a much more detailed and lengthy private list. Lately I have been very private indeed, and the silence holds many things. Potential novels and unfinished poems, lines spoken by characters that have yet been born. The silence surrounds my words, and sends me close-mouthed, mind full, into 2013.
Next week, we’ll get back to my first series about work. In the meantime, what are your resolutions?
